Skills for Managing Life

One to one or small group sessions

Across a series of sessions (one to one or in a small group), students will learn practical techniques and skills to enable them to develop self-care, to be mindful and stay in the present, to be able to recognise and then regulate difficult emotions, to cope with demanding situations and challenging thoughts, and to build and maintain positive relationships.

Facilitator training

Facilitator training for Skills for Managing Life 

This training is suitable for pastoral staff who want to be able to facilitate the Skills for Managing Life sessions with students in their school, either one to one or for small groups.

Facilitator training for student workshops

Facilitator training is available to enable staff in schools to deliver any of the workshops themselves, for their students, in their school or Academy Trust.

Facilitator training for parents and caregiver workshops

Facilitator training is available to enable staff in schools to deliver any of the workshops for parents and caregivers themselves, in their school or Academy Trust.
